Enoch was born on November 25, 1855, in Cherokee County, NC, to David Lemuel "Warren" Allen (b. 1829, d. 1898) and Clarinda Rogers (b. 1830, d. circa 1895). He and Artie Victoria Taylor (b. 01/24/1860, d. 12/28/1900), also of Cherokee County, were married by Magistrate G.F. Rose on March 14, 1878.
Enoch died June 06, 1908, and is buried beside Artie in the Allen Family Cemetery in Suit, NC.
